Our Story
Wicks & Sips was born from two of life’s simplest comforts: a glowing candle and a warm drink.
But beneath that simplicity lives a deeper story.
Life hasn’t always been easy. After years of infertility, a twin miscarriage, several failed fertility treatments, a failed adoption and then worst of all…a “C-word” diagnosis that threatened the thing I held closest…my husband, my safe place, my heart.
Through it all, creating became my calm.
Pouring candles, blending scents, and writing were small rituals that helped me find my way back home.
That’s what Wicks & Sips has always been about, not just candles, but little reminders that even through hard seasons, we can still create something beautiful, warm, and full of love.
After beating the odds against a glioma, we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary by renewing our vows!
About the Product
It's incredibly important to me that my candles do not contribute to the toxin-filled products we're already surrounded by.
That's why my candles will ALWAYS be paraffin-free and phthalate-free. These chemicals are commonly found in mass-market candles and soaps and are linked to endocrine disruption, fertility concerns, and even certain cancers.
